Whether you are hanging out at your local climbing area or some other destination, it is essential to learn how to be a safe and observant climber when transitioning to the outdoors. If you begin your sport climbing endeavors with the fundamentals, you are sure to find success in all your outdoor climbing experiences.
Under the direction of experienced professionals* Outdoor Sport Climbing Transition will build confidence, and self-sufficiency as you prepare for the outdoors.
Basic personal equipment required: Climbing shoes, Harness, Chalk Bag, Helmet
Please note that all technical equipment required for selected courses are included.
Booking has to be made a minimum of three weeks in advance. A deposit of 10% of the course cost is required once dates and times are confirmed. The deposit will NOT be reimbursed in the case of a cancellation.
Outdoor Sport Climbing Transition
Description:
This intensive course is offered over two days, for a total of 9 hours of instruction and climbing. This program is designed for the person that wishes to learn about lead climbing with a level 3 Climbing Gym Instructor, and developed the confidence to climb outside under the supervision of a fully certified ACMG rock guide.
- Day one ; through progressive steps and efficient coaching you will first learn lead climbing concepts, and different tactics, which you will practices in a safe indoor climbing environment.
- Day two ; you will take your new climbing skills to the REAL rock under the supervision of a fully certified ACMG Rock Guide. This course will prepared you for many great climbing days around the globe.

- Art of Leading (see above)
- ½ Day out with an ACMG Rock Guide
